This in-person event will celebrate innovation in the public and private sector.

There will be talks relating to the headline Government ambition to ensure:

• Half of all journeys in towns and cities will be cycled or walked by 2030

• a world-class cycling and walking network in England by 2040

Our Technical Lead for Walking and Cycling, Lucy Marstrand, will be talking about

inclusive planning & design: travel data gaps and missing research:

• Avoiding commute ‘think’ and designing for children and low traffic neighbourhoods

• Travel data gaps and how this disenfranchises groups protected under the Equality Act

• Exclusive and inclusive network planning for walking and cycling
