Future-Fit Aotearoa: Do you count the carbon impact of your road maintenance activities?

Good news for Michael Arthur and Teddy Taleongpong – they just had their paper accepted for the Future-Fit Aotearoa Conference. They will be presenting in the ‘Climate adaptation and sustainability – meeting our commitments front-on’ theme. The paper will be based on some client case studies from the UK – including this example from South Gloucestershire.

NZ and the UK have committed to net carbon zero by 2050. This is a challenging goal – especially in the road and infrastructure sector. This paper will detail how this issue is being tackled in the UK road maintenance environment.
