Metis Cycling Crew complete Lands End to London charity ride

An amazing motley crew of Metis cyclists have ridden from Lands End to Metis office in Richmond, London in just 3½  days.  We rode 548km including lots of hills (8,240m).  With glorious weather and great camaraderie the 7am starts and strategic feed stops we powered through each day from Lands End to Penzance to Dartmoor to the New Forest and on to London in time for our first Metis drinks (at The Orange Tree Pub) in a long time.

We originally intended to ride three Pyrenees stages of the 2021 Tour de France in support of the William Wates Memorial Trust with Le Loop.  With COVID postponing and then cancelling the trip we decided to think up our own cycle challenge and raise some money for the charity.

Metis is sponsoring the charity £1 for every mile ridden.  But we do also have a Virgin Money Giving page where all donations would be very well received by the charity.
