One of Metis’ newest employees is co-leading on a cycling event with Urban Design London around some of London’s most transformative cycling schemes.

We are delighted to see one of our newest employees, Lucy Marstrand-Taussig, the technical lead for walking and cycling at Metis, co-leading a tour of delegates around some of London’s most transformative cycling schemes.

Urban Design London (UDL) has organised this cycle tour for a small group of delegates. They will experience new cycle infrastructure in central London and consider cycle network planning, what constitutes good cycle design, and visit examples of best practice in cycle friendly junction design, crossings, and side roads. More information can be found at Urban Design London events.

A film of the cycling event will be produced and the footage broadcast by UDL during an online ‘Lunch and Learn’ Session on 23rdJune.

Delegates will get the opportunity to discuss the film and quiz the guides and cycle experts which include Brian Deegan of Urban Movement and Lucy Marstrand of Metis Consultants.
