Helen Drysdale joins as Metis finance director

We warmly welcome chartered accountant Helen Drysdale to the senior leadership team as our new Metis finance director.

Helen succeeds Cath Jones, who has stepped away from her day-to-day role at Metis while retaining her oversight role as a Metis trustee.

About Helen

Helen has worked in finance since 2010. She most recently served as Group Head of Finance at marketing and communications consultancy Clarity, and previously held finance roles at LEWIS Global Communications and Hotwire. With more than ten years’ experience following her chartership, she is passionate about working for an ethics-first business. Having led on Clarity’s B Corporation accreditation process, Helen is particularly enthused to be joining another certified B Corp!

“I’m excited to be part of a great senior leadership team, and look forward to learning more about the engineering industry,” says Helen.

“I’m already impressed with the way everyone conducts themselves at Metis, and the work they’re doing to benefit the environment. The growth rate and the margins of the business are also impressive. I hadn’t been familiar with the employee ownership model before joining, but I think it’s great that everyone at Metis also shares in our profits, and works together for the greater good.”

Outside work, Helen enjoys music festivals and exploring new countries.
