Metis appointed to Ealing’s Framework for Highways Professional Services
Metis is pleased to announce that we have been successfully appointed to Lots 3 (General Engineering) and 4 (Flood Management) of Ealing’s Framework for Highways Professional Services.
The Framework for Highways Professional Services provides a compliant procurement route that all London boroughs may access. Metis’s appointment follows a competitive procurement process and is our third successive appointment to Lot 4.
We’re delighted to have the opportunity to build on our past body of work with London Borough of Ealing, encompassing various SuDS‑led street and water environment improvements on numerous sites. We’re also excited to now expand our range of work to Lot 3, providing comprehensive highways and transportation services.
Our appointment to two lots reflects our breadth of expertise, and our strong track record supporting local authorities via established frameworks – across London and beyond.
Framework scope
Under the framework, Metis will provide the following services:
Lot 3 – General Engineering
Support across a wide range of highways and transport disciplines, including:
- Highways and civil engineering design
- Transport planning and traffic engineering
- Road safety engineering and audits
- Public realm and urban design
- Asset management, maintenance and feasibility studies
- Project management, technical assurance and construction support
Lot 4 – Flood Management
Specialist flood and drainage services, including:
- Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) support
- Flood risk modelling and assessment
- Surface water management and SuDS design
- Drainage strategy reviews and planning support
- Flood alleviation scheme feasibility, design and delivery
- Funding bid support and Section 19 investigations
Through both lots, Metis will deliver call‑off professional services to support the council’s programmes, capital schemes and statutory duties – providing flexible, high‑quality technical expertise as required.
