Metis Releases Net Zero Statement

Metis Commits to Net Zero by 2030: Board Sets Strategic Path to Carbon Neutrality

The last three years, we’ve embarked on a journey to Net Zero to minimise and mitigate our carbon impact. In 2020, we attained ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and B Corp accreditation was awarded in December 2022. This external assessment of Metis as an environmentally and socially conscious organisation has helped us lay the foundation for that journey. 

We are pleased to announce that the Board has now set the Metis Net Zero Strategy. Our team has assessed our carbon impact and identified areas to target for reduction. The aim is to mitigate as much carbon as we can from all our business activity in Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and then find the best offsetting solutions that align with our business ethos. 

As a result, the Metis Board has committed to Net Zero by 2030 and will review and report progress on an annual basis.
