Having supported Sutton in securing Environment Agency Grant in Aid funding, Metis were commissioned to develop SuDS designs on seven school sites and one council site, to mitigate flooding to over 100 properties and deliver environmental benefits.
With their highway maintenance budget coming under pressure, South Gloucestershire appointed Metis to utilise investment modelling techniques to build a business case to defend the budget.

Following Metis’ assistance in creating their flood risk asset register in 2014, Metis was commissioned by Hounslow to provide regular Lead Local Flood Authority support in progressing their duties under the Flood and Water Management Act (2010).
Following a series of flooding incidents in the Birches Industrial Estate in East Grinstead, Metis were commissioned to investigate the causes of the flooding, undertake options appraisal and detailed design of a preferred option, before leading the procurement phase and contract administration during construction.
