Pup, pup, hooray! New kennel blocks at Linden Lodge designed by Metis

Today marked the grand opening of Linden Lodge Kennels and Cattery, in East Sussex.

Attended by Hailsham Town Mayor, Councillor Paul Holbrook, the event saw a celebration of all the hard work put into the redevelopment of the site. Situated on a functional floodplain, the new kennel blocks were innovatively designed by Metis to sit above the predicted flood levels.

The whole site has also been designed to harvest and reuse rainwater, making use of rain gardens, filter drains, waterbutts and below ground storage.

Metis’ Senior Consultant Dani Parfitt attended the opening, proud to see it all completed and to share a slice of cake.
