Quarantine Quiz
Following five hard weeks of quarantining ourselves in line with Government advice, we decided that a pub quiz would boost Metis’ morale. As a result, on Tuesday 21st April, we hosted our own virtual Quarantine Quiz . We brought our skills (and very real drinks) to the table to compete for a mystery prize, all in the name of good fun.
Within the Quiz seven teams of four Zoomed through eight rounds, with a total score potential of forty eight. The traditionally-based rounds ranged from the easy naming of classic songs and movies, to the more complicated of questions, such as identifying ingredients important to specific dishes, deciphering difficult Harry Potter spells and characters, and the exceptionally tricky London Knowledge round – Mike we’re looking at you!
All in all, our Quarantine Quiz was extremely successful in breaking the routine and enabling the team to stay connected above and beyond the working environment. Thanks to the quiz masters and Zara for organising. With three more weeks of lockdown in the pipeline, we’re now looking for more creative ways to stay entertained.
