Supporting Students in Their Future Career

Metis and NRP Deliver Social Value Initiatives in Partnership with Southwark Council

As part of our ongoing partnership with Southwark Council, Metis and Norman Rourke Pryme (NRP) are committed to delivering social value targets that benefit local communities in London.

On Monday, 17th June, our teams at Metis and NRP visited Sacred Heart Catholic School to host interview skills and speed networking workshops for Year 8 and 9 students, equipping them with practical tools and opportunities for successful future careers.

Continuing our engagement, on Friday, 21st June, Sacred Heart Catholic School alumnus and current Metis apprentice, Jermaine Etsiakoh, alongside our highway engineer associate, returned to the school to participate in their Year 10 and Year 12 careers fair.

In alignment with Metis’ volunteering initiative, we also offer a one-day paid volunteering opportunity to our employees. Our social value team actively collaborates with local schools and charities, leveraging our expertise and services to create a tangible positive impact within the communities we serve.

Through these efforts, we aim to create a supportive environment that empowers the next generation and contributes to the overall well-being of the local community.
