Framework Administrator

Metis Consultants is looking for a motivated and organised Framework Administrator to support on day-on-day management of our contracts and supply chain, and lead on our company’s delivery of Social Value.

About the Framework Administrator role

Across our business, we have established several long-term frameworks that equip us to deliver exciting civil and environmental engineering projects to our clients. In turn, these help us to make a real difference in the communities we work in. This role will report to the Commercial Manager, and support on the ongoing administration of these frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be someone with a good understanding of Framework Administration, who wants to work in a dynamic SME where they can have a tangible influence on the continued success of the business.

Key objectives of the Framework Administrator

The Framework Administrator will:

  • Collate, manage and track data to report against Key Performance Indicators across Metis frameworks
  • Own our Social Value programme – including tracking progress against commitments, liaising with staff to organise events that contribute to our Social Value targets, and liaising with the Social Value Portal to record achievements
  • Liaise with Framework Manager and project teams to resolve issues
  • Manage payment applications, invoicing process and debt resolution
  • Manage Purchase Orders for key suppliers
  • Coordinate contractual meetings and associated reporting
  • Calculate annual indexation
  • Produce Management Information Reporting

Qualifications, skills and experience:

(Required)

  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Experience in programme management and contract management
  • A foundational understanding of engineering consultancy and the specifics of engineering contracts
  • Minimum CEFR C1 level written and spoken English

(Preferred)

  • Experience of working within an engineering consultancy
  • Appreciation of typical Key Performance Indicators and best practice in reporting
  • Awareness of Social Value activities and their reporting
  • Experience in financial project control, including invoicing, Purchase Orders and resolution of debt
