Some Good News Amongst the Gloom

Although the news is far from happy and optimistic at the moment, we thought we would share some upbeat recruitment statistics to show that there are some good news stories out there. These are our numbers since the 1st of March this year:

• 10 permanent new starters – ranging from graduates to senior engineers.
• 1 degree apprentice – with us for at least the next five years.
• 5 interns – working over the summer, gaining valuable experience; one of whom is starting a permanent role with us next year.
• 1 industry placement student – avoiding being locked in Halls!
• 2 overseas recruits – joining us in the new year, as soon as New Zealand and Australia let them leave!
• 4 online university recruitment fairs – which we are supporting over the coming weeks.

Thanks to all of our new starters and to those who have spent some time with us, for making it all work exceptionally well despite the challenges.

Metis is still recruiting talented individuals and we are about to turn our attention to our intern and graduate intake for next year.
