Teddy guest speaker at the 2019 COTA International Symposium on Emerging Trends in Transportation

Teddy, one of the talents here at Metis, was asked to take part in the 2019 International Symposium on Emerging Trends in Transportation as a speaker guest.

The event was held in the beautiful city of Rome and organized and sponsored by the Chinese Overseas Transportation Association, Universitá Roma Tre, Sapienza Universitá di Roma and Transportation Research Board (TRB)

Teddy presented his continuing research in collaboration with  academics from Imperial College London, Zhejiang University and the University of Illinois on the utilisation of machine learning to predict and understand cascading delays in UK Railway Networks.

The conference was attended by renowned transportation Researchers and PhD students from all around the world as well as notable industrial representatives.
