Our story.

Honesty, clarity, expertise; these three words form the foundations of Metis. What started as two chartered engineers on a mission to challenge the status quo, is now a leading consultancy renowned for outstanding customer relationships.

Keeping it simple since 2009.

In an industry of red tape and jargon, chartered engineers Luke Meechan and Simon Jones set about breaking the mould. Their mission; to simplify Asset Management through honesty, clarity and their extensive expertise.

And in 2009 their vision was realised – Metis. An enthusiastic welcome lead to a rapidly increasing client list. Metis became known for their outstanding client support and was quickly established as a leading force in Highway Management.

More from Metis.

Soon seeing how they could deliver more for their clients, Luke and Simon expanded their portfolio to include Flood Risk Management and Civil Engineering Design. Metis became known as a ‘one stop’ solution for these intrinsically linked categories.

Now the leading Highway and Flood Risk Management consultancy in London, Metis works with over 20 London Boroughs and a loyal client base throughout the UK. This includes Unitary, Metropolitan, District and County Councils as well as private developers.

Keeping our priorities straight.

The refreshing Metis approach has attracted some of today’s brightest engineering talent, bringing their skill and enthusiasm to the growing team.

But as the company expands, our ethos remains the same; always putting our clients first. Luke and Simon are very much hands on, inspiring their team to deliver a world class service with a personal touch.
