Last week, the Water Engineering team had the pleasure of welcoming a new team member, David. Here are a few things to know about him!

Hi everyone, I’m David, a British and Belgian citizen who was born and raised in Luxembourg. I completed a master’s degree in civil engineering at Cardiff University and a post-graduate MSc in Hydrology and Business Management at Imperial College London. Currently, I have joined Metis Consultants as a graduate engineer in the water engineering team.

Throughout my studies, I have worked on various projects, including the integrated design of a fully operational hospital and conducting a town flood design and risk assessment.  Now, I am eager to further develop my skills and make a positive impact on local communities such as improving water sustainability. Additionally, I am keen on working towards my chartership as I progress in my field.

Outside of work, I enjoy socialising with friends, as well as spending time alone, reading and going for walks. I also have a passion for travelling and exploring the beauty that the world has to offer. I have also completed the European Bartender School degree and enjoy making cocktails for all!
